SubAquaScape

This is my first underwater photography collection. I got a GoPRO a few months before to indulge in scuba diving... I got the color filters red, magenta for going deep underwater. But the pandemic hit and I was stuck in my lake house, a magic spot in southern Mexico, Laguna de Bacalar, although in strictly geological terms it's a lake. Many hours I would sit by the dock just watching the water from above, wondering, imagining, trillions of what if´s... but fear held me, years ago, one of my teenage best friends drowned accidentally in the same area, el Cenote Esmeralda. So, for me there was some eerie sensation that prevented me but this time, eager to try the colors I jumped in. With a snorkel and my humble GoPRO 8 the water portrayed a dreamy scape that changed my perception from that place.
